Our
Mailing Team

Since
this is the last month the Co-op Connection will be mailed out to all
members, it seems appropriate to choose as our volunteer of the month,
all the member/participants who have worked over the years to mail out
this newsletter.
Every
month we have gathered, with a roomful of Co-op Connections, to label
and sort thousands of newsletters.
It's
been a lot of fun.
We
have talked about everything from the latest on the political scene,
to expanding the Co-op to a second location, to a fondness shared by
many of the regulars for donuts.
We
have looked for our friends' names among the thousands of labels.
At
the end of the morning, our hands blackened from the ink, we are satisfied
— having spent the day working with people who have become, over
the years, our friends.
In
many ways this monthly project exemplified what is great about the Co-op
and the member/participant program — the shared work with the goal
of helping to educate our membership, the camaraderie, the laughter.
Thanks
to all who have given a morning each month for this work. It has been
a joy and a
privilege to work with you.
